Jour de Reve Events made my wedding plans come to life beyond my wildest dreams. I felt supported and less stressed leading up to the date with any questions and concerns. She had great communication! The rehearsal with my extremely large wedding party went smoothly with her expertise. I loved that she wanted to follow my plans but gave great advice when I asked on how things would realistically work. The day of the wedding I didn’t lift a finger. I had a backyard wedding that required EVERYTHING from trash cans set out, my ceremony seating organized, to 100 water filled glass cylinders be filled and lit. Michaelene and Sydney took my vision and improved on it in little ways that really blew my mind and touched my heart. At the end of the evening they disassembled all of their hard work and were the last ones to leave. Unbelievable efficiency, hard work and kindness were shown after they had been working for 10 plus hours already. I cannot thank Michaelene, Steve, and Sydney enough for the flawless execution of our wedding. We hired them for the month of our wedding, but they went above and beyond and provided recommendations and support even prior to that. With just 1 meeting they understood everything we needed and took a massive weight off our shoulders. We instantly felt like everything was under control. They even supported the rehearsal!

Michaelene and her Team truly blew me and my husband away! We Hired Jour De Reve Events for the day of coordination and she beat my expectations! My Husband and I are from New Jersey and Had our wedding at Seabrook island SC so being at our venue in person was a rare occasion but Michaelene made it a Breeze!

From Start to finish I felt like I didn’t need to lift a finger, To the point that I even got a small shard of glass in my foot and that was removed by them!! Talk about service!! I highly recommend this team and will stay on Charleston Wedding pages just to constantly get their name out there!! My wedding was decorated exactly like I pictured in my mind and it really came together perfectly! Even little details that I didn’t specify that I wanted was done and without those touched some thing decor wise would’ve looked very blank without their special touches! Our wedding was about a week ago and my husband and I are still talking about how great everyone was from this great company ! She not only exceed expectations for our wedding but she also keep everyone cool, clam, and collected during a hurricane the day before! I cannot say enough great things about this wedding planner.

Micheaelene called all of my vendor’s every day for an entire week leading up to our wedding because of the terrible storm coming in. She was also willing to make the 45 minute drive out to our venue for the rehearsal in the height of the storm! Now that's commitment!

Her team was extremely professional at our wedding and she brought 3 extra assistants to set everything up and keep the night running smoothly. We set out almost 500 candles and I didn't see a single one go out all night because her team was on it!

She is a total advocate for the bride when interacting with vendors and is exceptionally flexible. She met with us multiple times to discuss individual aspects of our wedding and even stepped in last minute to cut our cake for guest. I would 150% recommend her to any bride who's looking for a day of coordinator that will bring your vision to life!

Description There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Michaelene and her team are and how magical they made my daughter's wedding. This was a big job with multiple sites (church on Johns Island, rehearsal dinner at the Carolina Yacht Club, and the reception at Society Hall on Meeting Street that took place on 2 floors and in the garden) and lots and lots of vendors and people to wrangle.

I was so nervous about this wedding since I live in Virginia, my daughter and her fiance live in Chicago, the groom's family lives in North Carolina, and we have a lot of local family in Charleston--and we ended up with 130 people attending the wedding from all over the country. But once we met Michaelene, all my worries went away.

She is the most professional wedding planner I've ever met, and she guided me in ALL the things, including lots of different vendors. Somehow she used her magic to keep all the vendors and their requirements straight, she was there from the beginning of the rehearsal dinner and reception to deal with receiving everything from rental furniture to the cakes. And Sydney, one of the team members, turned our vision of a gold and white reception into a stunning reality. I'm still not sure how they got everything done on time, but by the time we arrived (after the ceremony at the church), Sydney had transformed the beautiful building.

And they even set up the very popular bourbon and cigar bar in the garden outside.

Afterwards, they managed the take down of all the rental furniture and equipment and even helped the other vendors pack up and leave the site on time. What could've easily been a day of chaos was actually an incredible event that my guests are still talking about--especially the food stations, cake room downstairs, and the bourbon and cigar bar.

Although this is selfish on my part, because of Michaelene's incredible gift of organization and patience, I was able to enjoy myself at my daughter's wedding. That is one of the greatest gifts I've ever received. Thank you so much, Michaelene and Sydney--and your entire team. My family and I are so appreciative and grateful for your help and guidance in planning this wedding. Thank you!
